Article split

Should this article be split into two separate articles about each successive battle? DaltonCastle (talk) 23:44, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

For example, the Battle of Bull Run, is split into First Battle of Bull Run, and Second Battle of Bull Run. DaltonCastle (talk) 23:51, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

DaltonCastle, I believe so-- I've tagged for a proposed split-- I would Support such a proposal Eddie891 Talk Work 13:37, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Support. It's two separate incidents. Hog Farm Bacon 13:49, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. While it is two separate incidents, both are fairly minor. It is really only the weight of both that make this site worthy of preservation, and preservation is what much of the article is devoted to. 14:01, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
  • Support. The engagements are minor in scale but they occurred over a year apart under very different circumstances. If it is true the article tends towards preserving the site, perhaps it would better if we should have three articles (not counting orders of battle): First..., Second..., and Cabin Creek battlefield. I have boldly split this article up per the stale discussion above

I have linked each new article to the page history of this article. This page will now serve all three new articles as attribution for all edits prior to the splitting. BusterD (talk) 17:04, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
