Description Bath Iron Works (BIW), a shipyard located on the Kennebec River in Bath, Maine (USA). BIW was purchased in 1995 by General Dynamics and is one of the largest private employers in Maine. Visible are three Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers being fitted out.
