Description

Buildings on south side of 3rd Street between East and Union Streets in Ponca, Nebraska. This block of 3rd is part of the Ponca Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

At right is the Bank of Dixon County, built in Richardsonian Romanesque style in 1901. The building east of it, now occupied by the BDC Insurance Agency, is the Halstead Commercial Building, built in 1886.
