A group of more than 30 Yaqui Indian prisoners being escorted away by Mexican soldiers, Mexico, ca.1910
Photograph of a group of more than 30 Yaqui Indian prisoners (mostly women and children) being escorted away by Mexican soldiers, Mexico, ca.1910. Only a few soldiers are visible. The setting appears to be in the desert as the landscape is relatively flat and barren. Most of the women carry their belongings in cloth-wrapped parcels on their heads.
