Summary

Description The John Davis Cabin at the Oconaluftee Mountain Farm Museum in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Davis and his two sons built the cabin on Indian Creek (above Bryson City) around 1900. In the 1950's, it was moved here from its original location. The cabin is built out of Chestnut tree logs, once a popular building material in the Smokies.
