Cross County vs Poinsett County for Brown Dolson

Recently I had an edit I made reverted, with this comment: "Cross County Arkansas was formed on 15 November 1862, after the unit organized. It was organized from parts of Crittenden, Poinsett, and St. Francis Counties. CPT Brown would have though of him self as being from Poinset County".

This source states that Capt. Brown Dolson was from Cross county. Given the explanation above, I think we should at least have a note laying out the rationale for identifying him as being from Poinsett County when the source says otherwise. Lastly, I want to make sure that we have "Poinsett" spelled correctly, with two "t"s, unless it is supposed to be "Poinset" with one "t".

Thanks to all for their hard work and contributions. KConWiki (talk) 02:18, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
