Update, please

Any guy who knows German would please translate the updated info existing in de.wiki into English?

That would be great for the info here is better than nothing, but it has obviously lost much factuality. Thanks.

This is an old comment, but did not one actually translate? The German article is much richer. 174.95.45.11 (talk) 04:02, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong comment on photo

Hi, at first: I am German, I would translate, but what? Could you give a link, and I think it is already translated, or?

I want to tell something about the first photo, where is written: One of Tirana's Catholic cathedrals.

This church is the Jesuits church, it is catholic. But it is not a cathedral, and there can not be more catholic! cathedrals in one city. Why? A cathedral is always the bishop´s church. And there is only one catholic bishop in Tirana. (I tink you will never find 2 catholic bishops in one city, only one bishop and his auxilary bishops) - so this is ONE OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCHES OF TIRANA. Or, you can say: this is the Jesuit church.

I dont know how to change or edit here, I hope somebody can do this for me.

(I know this, because I live in Albania, and I am catholic) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.106.6.132 (talk) 11:11, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, many years have lapsed. The history section from the corresponding German article is far richer than what's included here.
I don't feel qualified to write that section, but I do plan on amounting some sources to think about putting together a proper history. Since sources are scant, though not entirely unavailable, this will take some time. 142.126.226.147 (talk) 02:42, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

History

The history section cannot possibly qualify as a history and it's frankly embarrassing. Does one have proper sources to piece together a proper history? 174.95.45.11 (talk) 04:03, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Catholic Priests

The contributions of Catholic priests to Albanian culture are considerable, including some of the country's most important poets, linguists, folklorists, etc. It would be appropriate to include a section that covers this as well as the ruthless persecution of Catholic priests by the Communist Regime. 142.126.226.147 (talk) 02:38, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
