North Central Positronics? That must be a joke, as it is a fictional company in the Dark Tower series of books by Stephen King.

Mayors

Perhaps someone could do something with this text...

Mayors
1. james G. mcroberts term 1896
2. mark henson term 1897-1898
3. julius rosenberg term 1899-1902

... which I grabbed from the article. It would be nice to have a list of mayors, but perhaps someone could expand upon and format it. (If the person who started the list of mayors would like to paste a list of mayors onto this discussion page—preferably with a citation or reference—then someone else would be happy to format it and put it in the article.) -- Muffuletta 20:09, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Events, parades, and traditions...

I don't know what the exact rules are, but I think the "Events, parades, and traditions" section has too many "for more info, contact ...". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.218.190.191 (talk) 23:01, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Granite City & Granite City Township

Do these two entities share the same boundaries? The city page here seems to show a larger population in 2010 than the township, which would seem to say they have different boundaries; the area listed for both is also a bit different. However, the maps on both pages seems to show the boundaires being identical - though admittedly that's hard to tell - and the list of Illinois townships article seem to say that the township has no unincorporated area within it. Does that mean part of another municipality(ies) is located in a small part of Granite City Township? --Criticalthinker (talk) 09:50, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind this question. I was able to find that Granite City covers the entirety of Granite City Township, but also extends into Nameoki, Chouteau, and Venice townships. The map on this article is correct, as it shows the boundaries of the City of Granite City. The map on the article for Granite City Township is incorrect, though, and probably should be removed. --Criticalthinker (talk) 20:09, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
