What's with "Miscellaneous Celebrities, Beauty Pageant Winners, Cheesecake Models, etc."

Who decides who's a "Cheesecake" model, versus just a plain "model" (which has another section)? These long section names are rediculous. The whole page needs consolidation, into a few simple groupings. Other bad terms to use are things like "Do-Gooders". Not exactly encyclopedic. --Rob 16:44, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Cheesecake model" is a polite term for someone whose "modeling" basically consists of posing nude for the purposes of titillation. There is a pretty solid and objective difference between that kind of model and a regular model, who is hired by designers to model clothes.Acsenray 19:08, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Joseph M. Parker

Someone using IP addresses 205.56.145.34 and 205.56.145.36 has twice added "Joseph M. Parker (United States Navy) (Petty Officer 3rd Class)" to the "Soldiers, Sailors, etc." section. I've looked a few lists by State in Wikipedia, and this is the first one to have male and female actors, just "actors". See Gender neutral language. Female actors are often referred to as actresses, but they are actors (who happen to be female). This article follows Wikipedia's preferred convention in this regard; some others may not. General Ization Talk 17:29, 18 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Duh. It starts: Gender-neutral language (Gender neutrality in English) avoids constructions that might be interpreted by some readers as an unnecessary reinforcement of traditional stereotypes. And I think none of the instances told there is appropriate here. A prominent person from Ohio to include in the Businesspeople, entrepreneurs section would be technology entrepreneur Michael J. Saylor, who grew up in Fairborn, near Dayton. Suggested bullet point:
