Hello, my apologies. Could you specify which specific changes? is it ok to add links to the artist's other websites (such as their spotify page, youtube page, etc.?) is the problem in the wording of
the paragraph at the beginning? it was changed to add a span of his career but some of the words used I think could come off as promotional, and i'll change up the wording if so.
Thank you for letting me know! AdiTHnet (talk) 01:10, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thanks for your response. It was the phrase "the most beloved clubs" and the addition of the social media profiles. Statements should be phrased neutrally. The policy on linking to social media is here. Hope that helps. Tacyarg (talk) 10:18, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I believe I resolved the issue, I am very sorry as I didn't know that removing it was not allowed, I assumed it was ok to remove because I had resolved the issue, the template appeared to move the entire text of the page down and create a gap between the side bar and the rest of the page.
I will note this in the edit summary in the future. am I able to remove the edit now? AdiTHnet (talk) 00:03, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thanks for your reply. Please leave the copyvio template until other editors have had a chance to look at it, as it is still reporting an 84% chance of copyright violation. For instance, the paragraph starting "McLean has been active in the professional music world" and the one starting "McLean’s original compositions have been performed in New York and throughout Europe" are copied from the linked source. Tacyarg (talk) 00:12, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What is the best way to avoid this copyright problem in areas such as "Mclean has been active in the professional music world"? Should I just word it differently? it's a simple fact, and most of the wording is either reworded from the previous edit of the page or from the source, but I am not sure how to avoid using the wording in the source... please advise. Would using synonymous language suffice? AdiTHnet (talk) 02:24, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Once again checking it-- how can I remove the notices at the top of the page regarding copying and pasting text from the page Jordan Mclean (musician)? the copy-pasted text is from a biography written about them I believe, should I just use synonymous words? I'm conveying facts so theyre pretty much the same all across AdiTHnet (talk) 20:14, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
