Welcome to Wikipedia and the edit-a-thon on SDGs in September 2020

Logo of "Wiki loves SDGs" initiative

Hi,

I am EMsmile, and I am a part of a group of people wishing to improve SDG-related articles on Wikipedia. We are organising this online SDG edit-a-thon during Global Goals Week, 18-26 September 2020. Please take part in it! If you have any questions about this work, please feel free to ask your question on the event's talk page here. The event page itself is here.

Here are some pages about Wikipedia editing that you might find helpful:

Please sign your name using four tildes (~~~~) when you post on talk pages. This will automatically produce your username and the date. Look for the "tilde" character on your keyboard; for example on English keyboards it is to the left of the "enter" key (accessible with the "alt gr" key).- EMsmile (talk) 06:54, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Women in Red

Hi there, María Sacristán, and welcome to Women in Red. As creator/translator of so many articles on the Spanish wiki, it's good to see you intend to become more active in English. I see you have created a number of biographies of diplomats. You might be therefore be interested in contributing to our year-long event on Peace and Diplomacy. You should browse though our Redlists and see if you can find interesting women who deserve articles. There are many who have detailed articles in Spanish but not yet in English. I now look forward to your first women's biography in English. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 08:07, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
