Description
English: U. S. Navy Auxiliary Security Force members stand by to assist in rescue efforts in response to the crash of Korean Airlines flight 801 on Aug 6, 1997. U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Air Force, and numerous civilian rescue teams, currently assisting in the search and rescue efforts of KAL flight 801, evacuated survivors from the crash site during the early morning of August 6th.
