Nearly this entire article reads like political propaganda masquerading as history. Should it be edited down?DJKuulA (talk) 22:19, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hajj to Jerusalem?

I marked this dubious - clearly no Muslim is obligated to make Hajj to Jerusalem, but rather to Mecca and Madina. The attendance of Jerusalem is indeed made by many Muslims, but not as part of Hajj ritual.GreyShark (dibra) 22:51, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

On a related note, most of the info in the article is stated in the listed sources, the problem is just that the citations are not listed after the info they are supposed to support... FunkMonk (talk) 09:47, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If anyone is interested to working on the future Ribat al-Mansuri−article, you are most welcome to give hand on User:Huldra/Ribat al-Mansuri (The place already has an article on ar.wp and he.wp)

Lots of pictures on commons, and lots of sources! (give me a word if you need any) Huldra (talk) 22:32, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DYK

Anyone interested in that process might consider proposing a DYK for this article, which has fascinating information on a little known side of Jerusalem.Nishidani (talk) 16:11, 4 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not eligible as it stands. Current readable prose size is 884 words; since this is not a "new" article, it needs to have recently been expanded 5x = 1375 words of readable prose. Alternatively, get it up to GA! --NSH001 (talk) 06:57, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Atlanta Black Star

I want to open a discussion with regards to content sourced from Atlanta Black Star. TomReagan90 and I have exchanged comments by way of edit summaries regarding the validity of this source for use in this article. ABS has been described as "Reliable but should be attributed in most cases, their coverage can at times border on advocacy." According to the About page, ABS is specifically interested in reporting on people of African descent. This article is clearly in that scope. Lastchapter (talk) 16:50, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Harassment section

Much of the information in this section is already in the "Modern Times" section and is simply redundant. For example, "The Afro-Palestinians are staunch supporters of the Palestinian national cause" is already stated as "they enjoy a special status for their contributions to the Palestinian national struggle" in the previous section. As such, there is no need for this section, as it already covers both harassment by Israeli authorities and racism by Palestinian Arabs. Furthermore, the vague wording to make broad claims and the omission of certain information from the sources comes across as being from a non-neutral perspective. For example, "Israeli police are said to be the main perpetrators of racism against the community" when it's just one guy in the source material saying that and that guy just so happens to have previously been imprisoned for committing a terrorist attack "similar" the one committed by Fatima Barnawi, although the source doesn't specifically say what kind of attack the guy committed. I feel that information is relevant, and omitting it gives the article a biased slant. I also feel the grammar and punctuation is more clear and clean in my edits. -EricSpokane (talk) 02:14, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
