I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

The inaccuracies in the uniforms pointed out here seem plausible—certainly Cardigan paid a lot of money to have just his own regiment, the 11th Hussars, in cherry trousers—but one reference work (Connolly 2003) praises John Mollo, the costume researcher, for his work. {{Cn}} request for some clarification.--Old Moonraker (talk) 06:27, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is a reference to Joseph E. Levine but not how he was involved. There is a reference to a lengthy settlement but no reference to the lawsuit that was necessarily concluded by that lawsuit. There is a reference to a falling out between Tony Richardson and John Osborne because that later refused to alter his script, but no reason why, apparently, Richardson asked for alternations (was it to avoid having to credit the Woodham-Smith book?). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.76.166.50 (talk) 16:28, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The historical background section needs to be rewritten. It has several POV statements. Such as "with their slightly unhinged head of state", "the British troops were incredibly brave and fierce", and the shocking statement that soldiers could be "debilitated by cholera, drunkenness and syphilis."
