C&P may be permissible, but per Wikipedia:Public domain, it must include "Proper attribution to the author or source of a work, even if it is in the public domain, is still required to avoid plagiarism." This is not satisfied by simply copying the brief mention of the author's credentials at the end of the article. Moreover, per Wikipedia:Public domain resources#Please don't data dump!, the material is to be edited and reformated per WP:MoS. Askari Mark(Talk) 19:45, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
