Description
English: Shop Stewards in in the temporary women's canteen, located above the No. 2 plate shop in the north yard, at the Burrard Drydock, North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Commencing in 1942, Burrard Dry Dock hired over 1000 women, all of whom were dismissed at the end of the war to make way for returning men.

En 1942, la Burrard Dry Dock embaucha une première femme, mais leur nombre allait éventuellement atteindre plus d'un millier.
