Manuel Benavides is one of the 67 municipalities of Chihuahua, in northern Mexico. The municipal seat lies at Manuel Benavides village. The municipality covers an area of 3,191.5 km2.
As of the 2010 census, the municipality had a total population of 1,601 .[1][2]
The municipality had 183 localities, none of which had a population over 1,000.[2]
