Polk Township is one of thirteen townships in Washington County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 2,708 and it contained 1,084 housing units.[1]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.99 square miles (93.2 km2), of which 35.84 square miles (92.8 km2) (or 99.58%) is land and 0.15 square miles (0.39 km2) (or 0.42%) is water.[3]
