According to Norman Moss's Klaus Fuchs, Fuchs "identified" Gold from film footage after failing to pick him from a series of mugshots. Fuchs apparently did not know Gold's name (well he wouldn't, would he?) Hence Gold must have already been under suspicion. Can anyone shed light on this?--Jack Upland 01:33, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since this comment nobs01 has provided me with a link confirming that according to the FBI Gold was in fact already under suspicion, so I have included this in the body of the text. I remain bemused by the weight given to Fuchs's flimsy identification in the official version of events.--Jack Upland 00:10, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
