Apart from a passing mention (in relation to York) Scotland is completely absent from this article, which is extremely odd, as it must surely be one of the earliest and one of the best documented itinerant courts. As our Scottish royal court article says:

• "For most of the medieval era, the king was itinerant and had no "capital" as such"

Note that even the Scottish Parliament, an extension of the court, was itinerant, meeting in many different locations, see:

The itinerant (and unicameral) nature of the court and parliament was one of the key features distinguishing Scottish governance from that of England and Ireland, and indeed most of medieval and early modern Europe. Mais oui! (talk) 02:44, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
