Where's the Patrick Fitzgerald appointment? I see the Mueller investigation listed but that's the only one under the "Investigations carried out by Special Counsel" title.Lkoler (talk) 02:50, 26 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think not. "The Office of Special Counsel was an office of the United States Department of Justice established by provisions in the Ethics in Government Act that expired in 1999. The provisions were replaced by Department of Justice regulation 28 CFR Part 600,[1] which created the successor office of special counsel." So it was replaced by itself? It replaced itself? This doesn't make sense. Also, "The Independent Counsel was an independent prosecutor..." Was? The Whitewater, etc. Special Counsels are listed as Kenneth Starr and Robert Ray, but omits Starr's predecessor Robert Fiske (technically a special prosecutor, but there is essentially no difference). Yet a note warns NOT to include Fiske. Why? Vcuttolo (talk) 06:03, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
