Devil's Tower in Piazza della Cisterna.

Devil's Tower (Italian: Torre del Diavolo) is a tower located in the north of San Gimignano, Tuscany, Italy, which flanks the Palazzo Cortesi.[1] It is named as Devil's Tower according to a legend in which the owner returned after a long journey and said it had grown taller because of a devil.[2] It sets the Torture Instruments Museums (Italian: Museo della Tortura),[3] which provides scientific presentation of this subject matter.[4]

It is made of white calcerous rock and in the top it has got brackets.[5]
