@2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry This section on the Battle of Antietam should really be rewritten with a lot less dramatic flair. There's far too much irrelevant detail and this reads like an essay or research paper. A few examples:

> After arriving at the Dunker Church, the brigade would be rushed forward to the Cornfield owned by a local farmer by the name of D.R. Miller, now turned from a golden yellow to a crimson red.

Are the colors of the leaves on the trees at all relevant to this action?

> The regiment would be ordered to advance forward a few dozen paces to realign with the 18th Georgia

Do we really need to know - and how can can you even verify - that a regiment took a "few dozen paces forward" at a specific point in a battle? That's usually what regiments did in the Civil War, they advanced. Generally in line with the units on their flanks. It's not really a relevant detail that a brigade lined up with another brigade.

This might be fact but it's a very opinion based sentence and doesn't belong here.

I'm resisting the urge to just remove the entire section but it should be removed in its current form.
