how to play javelin and the rules

please show me how to play javelin on a page —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.210.9.40 (talk) 19:55, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Narrow the definition

If I get it right the javelin was not only a thrown weapon mainly but also always one-handed (or at least usually used with a shield). If that's correct it would be nice to be added to the early part of this article to distinguish the javelin further from the more general spear and the different pike. Since I'm not sure about this I didn't change the article itself. I also added a similar comment to the Pike_(weapon) talk. Florian Finke (talk) 12:19, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Consider changing the order of the pictures

as the first two pictures do not show a javelin at all — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.193.46.98 (talk) 08:04, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Done... after thinking about it for a few years. I actually had to draw a pic myself, as I couldn't find any available useful ones. --A D Monroe III(talk) 16:38, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
