BBFC rating

I have just removed the following highly questionable statement:

"Remarkably for a film which has no sex and no violence, the British Board of Film Censors gave it an "A" rating, which requires children to be accompanied by an adult."

As per their database, BBFC actually rated the film a 'U' in 1957, and this was carried over to the video release in 2003. That is quite apart from the fact that in 1957 it was not a universal requirement that children had to be acompanied for 'A' films, although some local councils did enforce such a rule. The Bf109 aircraft is a replica, not a real one. https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235137676-franz-von-werra-question/ Maybe someone might like to change it. 220.245.235.33 (talk) 23:10, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
