How can a "metropolitan area" have a population density of 80/km^2? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.167.229.235 (talk) 11:43, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Map of Greater Oklahoma City

Can someone find a map of Oklahoma highlighting the 8 counties that make up Greater OKC and put one on here? I can't find one to put one on here...

I've replaced the previous map, as it highlighted the CSA only. The new map highlights both the MSA and the CSA: the MSA is red, and the county added to make the CSA is yellow. Nyttend (talk) 13:04, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:MidwestCitySeal.jpg

Image:MidwestCitySeal.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:30, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reversion rationale

I'm returning the page to this revision (with a few additional concessions) that was undone by User:Rsrikanth05. The page had the following problems before my edit and were reintroduced by undoing it:

  • An apostrophe is missing ("...is the states largest Metropolitan.")
  • Poor grammar and style ("A large urban region and ... largest Metropolitan.")
  • A metroplex has a specific definition and Oklahoma City does not meet it.

I returned the link to Central Oklahoma and the line about how OKC's metro area is "a large urban area," so there is no difference in content between the revisions. Please don't undo this edit wholesale. 198.244.107.69 (talk) 21:08, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
