The 2017 Overland Park, Kansas mayoral election was an election for the office of Mayor of Overland Park, Kansas that took place on November 7, 2017.[5][6] This election saw the first challenger to incumbent mayor, Carl R. Gerlach, since 2005,[7] but he ultimately won a fourth term in office.[6]

The 2021 Overland Park, Kansas mayoral election is an upcoming election for the office of Mayor of Overland Park, Kansas. Incumbent mayor Carl R. Gerlach is not running for re-election.[2]
Gerlach and another former Overland Park mayor, Ed Eilert, have endorsed Curt Skoog.[8]
