The following article refers to a former historical marker where the 1825 Prairie du Chien Line passed through what's now the City of Forest Lake, MN:

I commented on that online article, with my guess that the line would have crossed the Saint Croix River in the area of what's now the City of Marine on the Saint Croix, MN. The map that's shown on this Wikipedia page seems to put the line in this area, as well.
