English: Early 1930s photograph of Gladys Carlyon De Courcy Misick Morrell's Bermuda cedar table is confiscated by Police Sergeant Henderson, Bermuda Police Force at Cavello Hill, 6 East Shore Road, Somerset, Sandys MA02, Bermuda, due to non-payment of parish taxes in protest for women's suffrage. Other activists shown included Thalia Misick (Morrell's mother, at the far left of the photograph), Henrietta Tucker (behind Morrell's right shoulder), and Caroline Smith.[1] [2]

English: The photograph has been reproduced in many publications over the decades, and is undated, but certainly produced before 1935 when it was reproduced in Carveth Wells' book "Bermuda in Three Colours" (Robert M. McBride and Company, New York City). "If the work is of unknown authorship, copyright expires at the end of the period of 70 years from the end of the calendar year in which the work was made" (see Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Bermuda)
