About Us

GD Goenka University is a private university^[1] located in Sohna, Gurugram, Haryana, India. It was established in 2013 by the GD Goenka Group^[2] through the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2013. The GD Goenka Group was founded by Shri A.K. Goenka. GD Goenka University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).

King's University College

To foster academic and cultural collaboration between India and Canada, King’s University College recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GD Goenka University in Delhi during its India visit. Led by Dr. David C. Malloy, King’s President, and Dr. Tracy Cunningham, Director of Enrolment Services and Registrar, the delegation concluded their visit with the signing, following an earlier MOU with Don Bosco International School in Mumbai. Dr. Malloy emphasized the importance of intra-institute partnerships in King’s internationalization objectives, fostering collaboration in staff and student mobility, research, and other academic areas. Currently, 22.8% of King’s students are international, with a desire to increase the number of Indian students. The MOU facilitates student pathways, faculty mobility, joint research activities, and academic cooperation over the next five years. Already, Dr. Lynne Jackson, Professor and Department Chair of Psychology at King’s, conducted a virtual workshop at GD Goenka University. Prof. B. S. Edu Brain Overseas

GD Goenka University has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Edu Brain Overseas to facilitate international internship and overseas placement opportunities for its students. The MOU was formalized in the presence of Dhirendra Singh Parihar, Registrar of GD Goenka University; Akhilesh Chandra, Director of Training and Placement; and Supria Rai, Assistant Director of Edu Brain Overseas, among others. This collaboration aims to offer paid international internship programs and overseas placement opportunities to GD Goenka University students in countries such as France, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Germany, and the United States (US), as stated by Supria Rai. Edu Brain Overseas UAE will assist students throughout the application process, including visa paperwork and timely document submission, in addition to providing career counseling services. Source

CyberPeace Foundation, a prominent organization dedicated to cybersecurity and digital policy and advocacy, has announced a strategic partnership with GD Goenka University. The alliance was formalized by Prof. Dr. Anuradha Tiwary, Registrar of GD Goenka University, and Dr. Brinda Banerjee, Head of Tech Policy & Research at CPF, representing their respective institutions' leadership. In a significant initiative, the School of Health and Allied Sciences at GD Goenka University, a prominent educational institution in the country, has established the Park Hospital Outpatient Department (OPD) to enhance healthcare services for its students, faculty, and the local community. As part of the teaching practices, students are encouraged to document and present their work to experts. All the schools regularly conduct conferences and seminars where speakers, practicing managers and faculty researchers participate. Some of the events are REDSET, ELIXIR, ICON, ICAP, Media^[5] clave, Agora, Code, Ihost, Mootcourt, Speed, ERA, and Udyami Bazaar.
