Battle of Honey Springs

Hillsdale is a town in Garfield County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 75 at the 2020 decennial census.[4]

Geography

Hillsdale is located in northwestern Garfield County and is 18 miles (29 km) northwest of Enid, the county seat.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.9 km2), all land.[5]

According to the United States Census Bureau,[4] there are approximately 75 people, 36 (±17) households, and 30 (±15) families in the town. As of the 2020 Decennial Census, there were 40 total housing units.

The average family size was approximately 3.13, recorded during the 2021 American Community Survey.[7] According to the survey, the town’s ancestry data was composed of 40% German,15% English, 9% Irish, and 1% Scottish ancestry.[4] The town’s racial makeup was 93% White, 4% American Indian, and 3% Hispanic or Latino; with 3% indicating two or more races.[8]

The median age was 47.7 (±6.3) years old.[4]

The median income for a household in the town was $58,750 (± $12,937) in 2021 inflation-adjusted dollars.[9]

Education

Hillsdale is within the Kremlin-Hillsdale Schools school district.[10] The Hillsdale Christian School is a private school within the town which offers faith-guided education to pre-K through 12th grade students.[11]
