South Park episode summaries don't list the script; neither should we list the lyrics. Wikipedia is also not the place for lyrics posting; there are lyrics websites for that. Didn't I say something about this awhile ago? Anyway, I'm in favor of this, since the "summary" is basically a rephrase of the lyrics. I beleive this is the situation with a great number of Al songs. I agree with you guys. The previous summary was nothing more than a paraphrasing of the lyrics. If you tried to post the lyrics on the site, you could end up in trouble for copyrights. "Albuquerque" should only loosely be considered a song.

it says that the song clocks at 11:25 adding up to 27 when he never uses 27s. But this can be disputed. i have the song and iTunes times it up at 11:23. as does Windows Media Player. Also, one line says, quote, "The Movie, which is an unofficial video for the song." What the heck?? I guess someone forgot to finish their thought or just had a typo.

11:25 does not particularly add up to 27. One could easily add 1+1+2+5 to get 9, 11+25 to get 36, or 11+2+5 to get 18. I'm sure many such instances can occur with many numbers, depending on which ones you decide to string together and which ones to add. Yelling Bird 16:15, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Emo Philips is a good friend of Al's. Emo regularly does long-winded stories which are full of weird twists. A staple in Emo's stories is the use of sauerkraut. Emo has a joke about being raised in the basement and being kept there with leather straps. Much of the song is easily traced back to Emo's comedy - with the clear exception of the donut shop routine, which is lifted from Monty Python's cheese shop sketch. So, while the idea of a long meandering song may be inspired by other musicians, the humor is, in my opinion, inspired heavily by Emo. -- kainaw™ 15:55, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sure all of those sound reasonable (to me, it's obvious that Dick's Automotive is a directly similar song)...but none of them can be in the article unless we have reliable sources stating what Yankovic's inspiration was.
