In regards to the : "An unremarkable hut, not notable." is fairly accurate however there is an exception, one of the aspects which make this hut special is that it is one of the few Australian Alpine huts which is accessible by car. That in itself brings large groups of people studying (generally at primary or high school level) the australian alpine, snowy mountains scheme and the australian drovers find this particular hut a little more remarkable.
