Independent Native American Efforts to Organize / Resist US Domination

This is a great page. However I think it may give the impression that the British alone were involved in efforts to organize Indian tribes to resist the pressure from the US military and settlers into the Northwest Territory. In fact there were Native American attempts to do so as well. I'm not a historian but I think it would add something to this article to add a bit about Native American attempts to create confederacies to resist US expansion. For example Tecumseh and his brother "The Prophet's" efforts to organize Shawnee and other tribes. Sure. Britain was a vacillating, inconsistent ally in this effort. In the Paris talks they sold out their Iroquois and other Indian allies, as the Americans sold out their French allies to get a separate and mutually profitable peace. The British later returned to a supportive position, but their attention wandered when other imperial questions arose in North America and around the world. I don't think we need a separate article on this matter, but there may be a good place to mentioned it elsewhere. Jim.henderson (talk) 16:00, 26 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
