Infobox

The infobox has been updated to that of a former nation as it was just this: a former nation. Please do not revert this edit again as the new infobox is not only correct but provides much more information that the previous "organization" infobox

Sorry reverted before seeing this post ....thus bad edit summary. That said this article is about the peoples not a country or teritory.--Moxy (talk) 18:03, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The "former country" infobox is being merged. Further, these are not nation-states. (also pinging CorbieVreccan to this discussion. I acknowledge that Infobox organization isn't ideal either, but the content of the "former country" infobox doesn't fit -- this was a political and military alliance of a wide range of people of more than one ethnic group, and the use of a succession box makes no sense at all. This was not a nation-state, but a loose organization. The language links are of minimal use, and unsourced to boot. It's more like the Triple Entente (for which there seems to be no infobox) If there was an "alliance" infobox, that might work, but not "former country." Also, per WP:BURDEN, the responsibility to justify addition of new material is on the person attempting to do so. I suggest that the content of the actual article be improved before adding material to an infobox that is more nuanced than it appears. So a "please don't revert this edit again" statement is, in this case, backwards. Montanabw(talk) 22:01, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't get hung up on what an infobox is called; that's just a label. Consider instead what parameters it has (and particularly those that are required) and what information you want to display. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 00:21, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
