Description
English: Drawing of a view from the Coal Creek stockade looking toward Militia Hill, the site of Fort Anderson, during the Coal Creek War (1891-1892) in western Anderson County, in the U.S. state of Tennessee. A drawing of Tennessee state militia officer J. Keller Anderson, who built the fort and commanded its garrison, is in the lower left. The fort was originally located at approximately 36.21540 -84.17433, just west of modern Lake City.
