For the past year it has been a construction zone for a three tower development called Smart Brickell. Images of site are available on Google Maps. Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit
  • curprev 11:0711:07, 16 February 2023170.250.124.73 talk 27,902 bytes −5 →‎Historic Brickell: The term “west” Brickell is a bias unfounded term used in discriminatory way to try to segregate and exclude people out of Brickell. Use of this term deprives residents and stakeholders of inclusive representation in Brickell. All the condos and businesses in this area (which is identifiable by the background) identify as Brickell. It is not a historical term. Also I don’t believe this 1925 building exists anymore so it may be a fake reference. Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit

  • curprev 07:1107:11, 8 December 2022BrickellResident talk contribsm 27,659 bytes −828 Corrected a misdescription. Brickell is not within the Miami Downtown neighborhood. The neighborhood "Downtown" is north of Brickell and has a separate Wikipedia page. Brickell is a distinct and separate neighborhood from Downtown, as shown in all maps of Miami in the public domain, including the one posted on this Brickell page. Tag: references removed
  • curprev 07:0107:01, 8 December 2022BrickellResident talk contribs 28,487 bytes −8 Deleted the word "urban" "urban neighborhood in Miami" in the opening line. This wording was recently added to the page but is a misnomer. Brickell is one of many neighborhoods in the City of Miami, and none are called "urban" - I compared against other neighborhoods in DC, Chicago, and NYC (like Chelsea and Logan Square), and standard language for a city neighborhood is just "neighborhood".

  • curprev 00:5200:52, 4 December 2022170.250.124.73 talk 28,495 bytes −2,616 There are no "sub-districts" in Brickell. The original breakdown to references of "sub-neighborhoods" and "sub-districts" is misleading and bias. Exhibit 11, was the basis for the deleted claim. The first document in Exhibit 11 does not reference subdistricts, and the second link resolves to an inactive website. Brickell is a compact dense neighborhood within Miami without boundaries or references to any boundaries in the public domain. Tags: Manual revert section blanking

  • curprev 02:0902:09, 12 November 2022BrickellResident talk contribs 31,026 bytes +90 "Brickell spilled over into West Brickell" is biased. West Brickell is outdated term. Also, West Brickell is a part of Brickell, not an adjacent zone that Brickell "spilled over". Also "interest" is a very subjective term. Whose interest? I am just changing this to be more neutral to say that "new developments expanded". rickell. West Brickell is a part of Brickell. Also, deleted bias opinion: new developments are "non-luxury". I cite to 3 lux properties w resort amenities - and more coming. Tag: Reverted
