English: BUILT IN 1928 IN SPANISH COLONIAL REVIVAL STYLE. ELLIS BISHOP WORKED AS A CIVIL ENGINEER BUT SWITCHED TO BECOME A EPISCOPAL CLERGYMAN. LATER HE RETIRED IN 1914 AND INHERITED A LARGE SUM OF MONEY AND BOUGHT THIS LAND AND HAD THE HOUSE BUILT ON IT BY SYLVANUS MARSTON A WELL-KNOWN ARCHITECT
