Description
English: French Warehouse Site on East Ship Island, Gulf Islands National Seashore, Gulf of Mexico. Image acquired from an altitude of 7,500 feet (2286 meters). Location of the French Warehouse Site was superimposed on the photograph based on known coordinates. The site contains remnants of a warehouse complex dating from circa 1717. The French Warehouse Site was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 13, 1991.
