Ron Hunter, the winningest head coach in Panthers men's basketball history.

The following is a list of Georgia State Panthers men's basketball head coaches. There have been 16 head coaches of the Panthers in their 60-season history.[1]

Georgia State's current head coach is Jonas Hayes. He was hired as the Panthers' head coach in April 2022,[2] replacing Rob Lanier, who left to become the head coach at SMU.[3]

  1. ^ Pugliese was fired on December 4, 1984 after three games. Mark Slonaker was named interim coach for the remainder of the 1984–85 season.[4][5]
  2. ^ Driesell retired in January 2003 after 10 games. Michael Perry was named interim coach for the remainder of the 2002–03 season.[6]
  3. ^ After serving as interim head coach for the end of the 2002–03 season, Perry was named permanent head coach in April 2003.[7]
  4. ^ Barnes was fired in February 2011, just before the CAA tournament. Paul Graham was named interim coach for the tournament.[8]
