Interleague play

I'm sorry, but there was no such thing as "interleague" play in 1975. What is with the colors?

Unusual number?

From the article: "At that time, his old number 27 was held on the White Sox by pitcher Ken Kravec. Fisk flip-flopped his old number and thus wore the unusual baseball number of 72 on his jersey."

I think if someone were to research the people who have worn any given uniform number in baseball history, you would find that numbers much above 50 are quite rare. The first numbers to be worn reflected the number of the person's order in the line up (Babe Ruth #3, Lou Gehrig #4, etc), so most ball players wore lower numbers. Missing citations

It could be argued that two valid citations should be located and affixed to this sentence from the start of the article: "Fisk is best known for 'waving fair' his game-winning home run in the 12th inning of Game 6 of the 1975 World Series, one of the greatest moments in World Series history." Film reference

Is it worth mentioning in the article that Fisk's home run in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series is used as a plot point in the film Good Will Hunting? The character played by Robin Williams explains to the Matt Damon character that he had a ticket for the game, but with some friends in a bar before the game he saw a woman he liked and handed his ticket over to someone else so that he could stay in the bar with her. As a result, he missed Fisk's home run bouncing off the pole, and the subsequent pitch invasion but instead married the girl. Cottonshirtτ 08:30, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notable feuds

I was planning to take this subsection out of the article, in much the same way that we avoid "controversies" sections in other entries. I don't see anything that suggests that Fisk was any more prone to feuds than other well-known baseball players. I think his issues with Thurman Munson could be just as easily covered within other sections of the article. I was surprised that his long-running issues with CWS management weren't covered there, but they are easily discussed elsewhere.
