Origin of name

Broichmore, I'm unsure about this material you added to this article and to Louis B. Anderson. The source says, "The District also exemplifies the later African-American history of the neighborhood after it became known as “Bronzeville,” through the house at 3800 S. Calumet, built in 1922-23 for Louis B. Anderson, alderman of the 2nd Ward and only the second African-American to serve in the Chicago City Council (elected 1917)." Although this could be read as indicating that the neighborhood became known as Bronzeville through the name of the house, I suspect it is simply saying that the house is a thing in the district that exemplifies the history of the neighborhood (as the neighborhood existed after becoming known as Bronzeville). Later material in the article indicates that the name for the neighborhood came from the skin color of its inhabitants, though the source for that looks pretty dubious. —Emufarmers(T/C) 08:03, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
