Delaware

As far as I know/learned in corporations class, really only Delaware has a significant franchise tax. Could the bottom of the article be better written to reflect that? I could get around to it eventually, but if others want to jump on it... Heliopolisfirebirdii (talk) 18:53, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly this definition is incomplete, as in California, the department that collects state income tax is called the Franchise Tax Board (http://www.ftb.ca.gov) [roricka] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Roricka (talk • contribs) 04:22, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nevada Does Not have income Tax

Nevada does not have an income tax. I removed the reference that was made, that states "whereas Nevada does have an income tax". As this is incorrect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.80.237.108 (talk) 12:48, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Income Tax or No Tax operating outside of Delaware

Delaware Corporation claims "Delaware charges no income tax on corporations not operating within the state..." whereas this entry claims "... in the case of Delaware, it has no corporate income tax for companies that are listed as operating in the state, but a substantial tax applies to those that do business outside of the state." In the former claim, one must assume that no income tax on corporations not operatins within the state, means the corporation is operating outside the state. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.22.157.235 (talk) 05:32, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
