You could do it in the morning. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.128.121.162 (talk) 19:52, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NFIB has had a severe membership drop off for most of this decade. I know that in 2005 and 2006 the organization lost over 20,000 members each of those years. I'm not sure when they reached the high water mark of over 600,000, but I believe it was about 10 years ago. While still a major player in DC and the various state capitals, one does have to wonder why this once great organization has artificially pumpep up their membership numbers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tspo68 (talk • contribs) 01:50, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NFIB doubled in size under Wilson Johnson to 500,000 members in 1977 or '78. NFIB's membership continued to rise during the Sloan era to at least 620,000 at some point during the 1990s. If anyone is interested I will dig through all my files to find more exacting info. Xcept4alltheothers (talk) 15:01, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NFIB is down to about 330,000 dues-paying members. Revenue from member dues peaked in 2004, and has not recovered, with an expected decline in 2008 over 2007............Former CEO Jack Faris retired in Feb. 2006, and received big pay raises in '04, '05, and '06, when membership was in sharp decline. Work needed

While the subject is notable, this article needs work.

Text should not be taken verbatim from other sources, including the organization's website, except for limited quotes which are specifically attributed (i.e. According to [source], [insert text], with quote marks or other clear indication that it is a quote, and with footnote[s] to that source). For other assertions, the language should be neutral, and cited to sources independent of the organization. Kablammo (talk) 15:46, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
