Interesting historical detail
'Ulysses was born twice. The first time was in 1885 when it was founded, and then a second time when the entire town was loaded onto skids and moved three miles across the prairie.' (from this page: [1]) Does anyone else think this is interesting enough to go into this article? Terraxos 18:45, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- (This is mentioned on the German Wikipedia article for this town, here: de:Ulysses (Kansas), so it could just be translated from there.)Terraxos 18:46, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
