The content defames Sion Sono’s reputation because it is not true. The only truth is this part: Sono Sion and Shuukan Josei reached a settlement on February 1, 2024, in which Shuukan Josei agreed to delete two articles from April 2022 that originally made the allegations. The article makes no judgement as to whether the allegations are true or not. But the events described (and sourced) still happened and are therefore true. If you think the way they are described in inaccurate, or not adequately balanced, then please suggest how they might be better described. On April 5, in a video he posted on YouTube, actor Tak Sakaguchi, who has appeared in Sono's films, identified himself as the actor merely identified as "T" in the Shūkan Josei article, and confirmed he organized the drinking party that led to Sono allegedly assaulting one of the accusing actresses.[52]
