English: The Winchester and Potomac Railroad Bridge crossing the Potomac River from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. The Appalachian Trail crosses using the Goodloe E. Byron Memorial Pedestrian Walkway. Considered the "psychological midpoint" of the trail, although the mileage shown is 1,167 miles to Maine and 1,025 miles to Georgia. Part of the historic B & O Railroad Potomac River Crossing.
