Sugar Creek is an unincorporated community in Moral Township, Shelby County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[3]

The community took its name from Sugar Creek,[4] which flows southward in the area just west of the community.[5]

Geography

Sugar Creek is located at 39°38′26″N 85°54′47″W / 39.64056°N 85.91306°W / 39.64056; -85.91306.

Climate

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Sugar Creek has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.[6]
