I do not believe that this article should be considered as "top" importance. It even says The Battle of Carlisle was a relatively small, but strategically important skirmish which shows that it shouldn't be top. I'm going to go ahead and change it to mid for Wikiproject Pennsylvania. Any problems with that please let me know on my talk page! Thanks 1312020Wikicop 21:09, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Without trying to influence your ranking (since I don't know your algorithm), I'd point out that the "relatively small" applies to the entire American Civil War. It was whatever gas was used for lighting. See gas lighting for the history of the technology. Wittenberg and Petruzzi have a description of the attack on the gas works in pp. 145-47. Hal Jespersen (talk) 00:13, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
