The location is 39°24′21″N 77°38′22″W / 39.405776°N 77.639312°W / 39.405776; -77.639312, and zooming in, the shadow of the memorial is seen in the Google satellite map, at 1001-1037 Arnoldstown Road, Jefferson, Maryland 21755, at the intersection with Gapland Road. The Appalachian Trail runs through the park and appears to run right across this intersection.
